Salty's in Portland is serving up more than just great seafood, we also
offer live music in our Café-Bar. We feature a truly magnificent
combo of world-class jazz players Jof Lee and Mel Brown.
JAZZ GIANTS MEL BROWN AND JOF LEE: Central figures in the Portland
jazz scene, drummer Mel Brown is known as Portland's ultimate timekeeper
and "Mister Groove." An Oregon icon in jazz, drummer Mel Brown
has been labeled the “Gentleman of Jazz,” with a career spanning
over 40 years. Jof Lee is known as the pianist of choice and is a very
active composer and arranger who has developed a unique improvisational

ANDREI KITAEV FROM RUSSIA WITH GROOVE: The brilliantly inventive Pianist Andrei Kitaev is a keyboard romantic from Russia. A musical genius combined with the thirst for the musical expression only Jazz can offer, he has a gut-wrenching cry for the freedom to explore, develop and present one’s soul on the ivories of a piano.

you enjoy our live music. Our
Café-Bar Menu features great Northwest seafood appetizers that
pair wonderfully with our wines by the glass, brews on tap and bottled
beer favorites. Of course we feature many non-alcoholic selections on
our Beverage Menu, too. All
this plus a backdrop of the Columbia River and Mt. Hood topped off by
spectacular sunsets.
