2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 and 1/2 tablespoons mixed herb seasoning
6 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
1 and 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Combine all of the dry ingredients.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese.
- Add the heavy cream.
- Mix until combined.
- Scoop or roll out.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
- Makes 2 dozen mini-scones or 1 dozen large scones.
