Dungeness Crab Fritters with Roasted Pepper Remoulade
Crab Fritters Ingredients
1 cup Wondra flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
1/4 teaspoon dry English mustard
1/2 cup half and half or milk
1 cup or 8 ounce of crab meat
Crab Fritters Directions
- Mix all the dry ingredients thoroughly.
- Mix all the wet ingredients thoroughly.
- Combine the ingredients and spoon dollops into a 350 degree Fahrenheit fryer.
- Chef's Tip: Poke the fritters with a toothpick to see if they are done. If it comes out clean, then they are.
Red Pepper Remoulade Ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoonchopped shallots
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon capers, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped roasted red pepper
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/2 tablespoon chopped dill
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 pinch salt to taste

- Mix all ingredients together.
