Mint and Black Pepper Honey
(Makes 1/2 cup)
1/2 cup honey
8 cracks black pepper
4 mint stems
- Place ingredients into a sauce pot and turn to medium heat.
- Warm thoroughly and remove from heat.
- Let sit for 30 minutes and then pull out mint stems.
- Serve with fruit, fried chicken, cornbread or toast.
Chef's Note: Great on fruit, fried chicken, cornbread, or toast.
