This recipe is just for you. This tasty treat was created by Salty's on the Columbia's pastry Chef Darla Swanson, Portland pastry Chef since 1999.

Jane's Crispy Peanut Butter Squares

Serves 4


3 ounces peanut butter
12 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
10 ounces heavy cream
14 ounces Corn Flakes, crunched to rice crispy size

  1. In medium metal bowl combine peanut butter and milk chocolate.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium high heat, heat cream just to a boiling point.
  3. Pour cream over peanut butter and milk chocolate and stir until everything is melted.
  4. Add corn flakes and stir until well combined.
  5. Line a cookie sheet using wax paper and pour mixture onto cookie sheet.
  6. Let set at room temperature for 2 hours.
  7. Cut into squares.
