Salty's Lemon Yogurt
8-ounce container Greek yogurt
2 lemons, zested
1 lemons, juiced
1 pinch white pepper
1 pinch salt, to taste
- Place the yogurt in a fine mesh strainer with a bowl to catch excess water
- Drain for 2 hours so the yogurt gets extra thick.
- Zest the lemons with a micro plane. If you are using a regular zester make sure to chop it fine before adding.
- Juice one of the lemons.
- Add a pinch of white pepper and salt to taste.
TIP: Add diced cucumbers and ground coriander to make tzatziki.
