Green Goddess Aioli (makes 1 cup)
2 sprigs tarragon, leaves plucked
6 sprigs chives
6 sprigs parsley
Zest and juice of ½ lemon
1 teaspoon capers
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon buttermilk
Salt to taste
Classic Cocktail Sauce with Fresh Horseradish (serves 1)
1 tablespoon fresh horseradish, peeled and grated
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
¼ cup ketchup
Dash of Worcestershire
¼ teaspoon hot sauce, optional
In a small bowl combine all ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate.
Preserved Lemon Remoulade (makes 1 cup)
¾ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon stone ground mustard
1 tablespoon mamas lil peppers, chopped
1 tablespoon preserved lemon, rough chop
2 teaspoons capers, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon chives, minced
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
In a small bowl combine all ingredients and whisk to combine. Refrigerate.
