Being from the great state of Washington we have our share of apples. We have figured many different ways to prepare this amazing fruit. My favorite is all natural vinegar. I feel that the average cook does not use vinegar enough in their cooking. I use it to balance almost all my dishes. I love give a spritz over some smoked meat, toss with some fresh fruit and put on a salad or even a dash in a soup or a broth to round out the mouth when eating. It also has amazing health benefits that my GURU Kathy explains in her latest blog Cider Beside Her. Since we are in the holidays I am going to give you one of my favorite cocktail recipes. This cocktail has a great punch and uses fresh apples and hard cider!
